Judging the Jury, a quick piece for spears magazine debating the Jury system after the Vicky Price mistrial in the UK a couple of months ago.
I’ve been slowly putting together some book covers around other jobs and heres the latest, Gulliver’s Travels. Theres so many iconic scenes out of this book, it was more of a challenge than you might think to do something new with it.
Redid the type on my Brave New World cover this afternoon, after struggling with how it looked before. In the process I’ve inadvertently made the whole thing look like a Netflix postcard.
Another rough I worked up in a quiet spot last week. It was originally for an article on Icelands recovery after letting the banks fail. The colours were different, but I wanted to try something a bit more spring like with the recent positive turn in weather.
I was asked by Grantland to do an image on horse deaths at the Grand National. There was a 24 hour or so window to get the work done, but its great to see something published so quick. You can read/see the story on the front page of http://www.grantland.com
